Skippered Yacht Charter & Cruising
Our Beneteau Oceanis 393 yacht, ‘Serena’ is available for skippered yacht charter and cruising at competitive rates. She is available to book for day sails, and for extended trips further afield, subject to availability.
Serena is based at Woolverstone Marina in Ipswich (IP9 1AS) and is licensed for 10 people for day sailing. She comfortably sleeps 7, with 3 double cabins plus saloon, complete with central heating and 2 toilets (heads) – all the comforts of home.
You can charter the whole yacht together with a skipper on a private basis, although you can join others and make up a crew on one of our planned skippered cruising trips. Our customers use our yacht charter service for corporate hospitality, team building events, coastal cruising and social sailings.
Skippered Cruising on your Own Yacht
We can also provide a professional skipper to accompany you aboard a yacht of your own, or one you have chartered from any port. Having one of our experienced skippers aboard to ease the pressure, people invariably find their cruise more enjoyable and less stressful.
Whether it is to build up your sailing experience on your own boat, to relax without the responsibility on an away-day aboard a bare boat charter, or to enjoy a convivial weekend break. Our friendly and experienced skippers are sure to leave you wanting to come back for more.
Skippered Yacht Charter Abroad
Why not consider having background support during your early cross channel skippering experiences. We can help finding new foreign ports, gaining confidence and learning as you go. If you are considering a foreign cruise, many of our customers like to meet their skipper before committing to booking, which we are happy to arrange.
Please note that the yacht must be seaworthy and with sufficient equipment aboard to allow your cruise to be safe! The level of equipment aboard will depend upon the cruising area, but if you are in any doubt, please contact us. Minimum safety requirements are outlined in the RYA C8 Boat Safety handbook.
