You'll find our South Coast sailing base near Southampton, which is approximately an hour and 20 minutes by train from London. A further 20 mins by cab take you to Port Hamble Marina, Satchell Lane, Hamble, SO31 4QD. This plush marina has parking available and easily accessible from the Southern Home Counties, and beyond!

On a Solent sailing day or a South coast cruise you'll see varied and picturesque scenery, from the rolling hills and rocky coastline of the Isle of Wight to the cruise liners at Southampton docks. Discovering the wooded slopes of the Beauleau river or Portsmouth’s naval dockyard, all adds variety to a great sailing venue.

Serena, is our Beneteau Oceanis 393. Licensed for 10 persons for day sailing, she sleeps 7 people comfortably in 3 double cabins. She is in great condition and has an extensive inventory, including central heating; 2 toilets (heads); chart plotter; cooker and fridge, providing all your home comforts.

South Coast Sailing Sample Itinerary

Arrive 9:00 for coffee, Danish pastries and a safety brief. Meet the team and prepare for departure.

Enjoy a morning sail on the Solent and become familiar with the yacht as we head to sea.

Sail along the bustling Hamble river, out into Southampton water and the Solent. Get involved with the sail handling, helming and navigation or relax and enjoy the view. You will be spoiled for choice as to where to go and what to see, there’s never a dull moment!

Time for Lunch - Have a buffet at anchor or choose from a variety of options ashore or alternatively, ‘eat on the move’ and get more ‘miles under the keel.’

Continue your sailing day by choosing from a variety of, as yet unexplored parts of the Solent, perhaps the defensive forts of the Eastern Solent or West towards The Needles. 

We aim to have you back at Port Hamble Marina for approximately 17:30hrs, ready for departure home.
