3 Day Solent Sailing Trip, Cowes Week and Beyond
A great, long weekend sailing in (and out of) the Solent for Cowes Week.
- Sail around the Island, visit Poole, Langstone or Chichester are but a few of the options.
- Arrive Port Hamble Marina at 1900hrs for introductions, safety brief and outline of the sailing trip on the 1st evening. Then, step ashore for a 'pie and a pint'.
- In the morning, prepare to depart for the 1st full day sailing on the water. Aiming perhaps for a long day as we circumnavigate the Island, (observing the last of Cowes week racing as we go), and finishing in the Eastern Solent with a meal aboard but, hopefully time for a beer ashore.
- DAY 2 brings a more leisurely day, timing our entry into Cowes for time for a mooch in the bustle of the High street. A meal ashore well earned and, perhaps a late night out?!
- DAY 3 in the central Solent before returning and sailing to Port Hamble for a late lunch before heading for home.
