2 Day ‘Fastnet Start’ Solent Sailing Weekend – Whole Boat Charter

Enjoy a great South Coast weekend sailing experience in the Solent. Join us Friday evening for a meal ashore or early Saturday morning. Then get up close to the FASTNET fleet in the Western Solent as they race for the Needles.

'Fastnet Start' Solent and South Coast Sailing Weekend 

Arrive Port Hamble Marina either on friday evening or, by 0830hrs Saturday morning. We'll sail into the Western Solent for an exhilarating day on the water as we position to watch different race classes race towards us. They will have started at the Royal Yacht Squadron, heading for the Needles! We can track the yachts racing and enjoy a sail alongside the fleet, getting up as close to the action as possible.

After a buffet lunch at anchor, we will sail out of the Solent for a closer view of the Needles. Enjoy a leisurely sail for the remainder of the day before mooring at Lymington for the evening and a meal ashore. 

On Sunday, we will enjoy a sail back through the Solent and, either lunch in Cowes or, at anchor. Perhaps sail past the historic forts to the East before returning to Port Hamble for approximately 1700hrs departure home to complete with exhilarating and relaxing Solent sailing experience.
